NO Prejudice, the latest studio album from reggae singer Natural Black, is slated to be released on July 8.
According to the entertainer, the 15-track album — his 14th — is a mixture of social commentary, lover’s rock and dancehall tunes.
“The title speaks for itself, No Prejudice. It exemplifies my mindset of no prejudice… that it’s all love and that we should all show love to one another. The songs Love Got A Way, Searching, Special Girl, Don’t Play With My Heart, Give Me Your Love, and Feelings which features M’Deon, are all lover’s rock that are sure to quench the soul, mind and body of lovers throughout the globe,” the 39-year-old told the Jamaica Observer.
Also included on the track listing are This Will Be Over, Rolling On, No More, Africa Awaits, and Just Got Paid.
The album boasts of producers including Omar Benjamin, Ricardo ‘Red Boom’ Reid, Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith, Kasha Campbell, Hakan Kara David Sitbon and Fabienne Romano.
Natural Black, given name Mortimer Softley, relocated to Jamaica from Guyana in 1995 to pursue his dream of being a reggae singer. He is best known for singles Far From Reality, With Feeling, Bad Mind and Never Leave You Lonely.
