The Hon. Robert Nesta Marley’s London Home Earns Heritage Plaque

Poet Benjamin Zephaniah unveils an English Heritage blue plaque for Bob Marley, at his home on Oakley Street in Battersea, London, on Oct. 1, 2019.

 

The musician and songwriter Bob Marley was honored with an English Heritage blue plaque at the West London address where he and his band the Wailers lived in 1977.

 

The Jamaican-born reggae star joins John Lennon, Freddie Mercury, Mozart, and other musicians and composers who have all been honored with a rare blue plaque.
