Soul II Soul honored at Music Walk of Fame in Camden, London.

Soul II Soul was the fourth act to receive the accolade, with fans flocking to celebrate the achievement with them. Previous entertainers to receive this accolade were the Who, Madness, and Amy Winehouse. Jazzie B of Soul II Soul’s real name is Trevor Beresford Romeo, seen grinning away as he touched the stone, which reads ‘innovators,’ before wiping away tears as he took his seat. The 57-year-old said of the accolade: ‘I’m really proud and slightly overwhelmed today, I thought it would be alright, but it got really nostalgic and did bring back a lot of memories.

Soul II Soul are best known for their 1989 hits Back to Life (However Do You Want Me) and Keep On Movin, and have won two Grammys (1989 & 1992) as well as being nominated for five Brit Awards in 1990 and 1991.
